My name is Ivan Bilugan, but my friends call me Bilog which means Circle.

When I was a kid, my classmates used to tease me a popular rhyme — bilog-bilog-bilugan, assignment-assignment, suntukan (circle-circle-rounded, assignment, assignment, melee). Since then, I realized that I should claim the name Bilog Bilugan so that no one would ever tease me again. However up until now I’m still being teased, which is cool because at least I get to have my own rhyme.

I discovered I have a talent in designing when I was in my 2nd year in college. It was in our Computer Journalism class that I remember doing our first activity, to create shapes and dots. My Professor, Ms. Tina Saulo, told me that I have an eye for design. Back then I knew she was just being sarcastic, but because I’m also too gullible to be noticed, I absolutely believed her. Thank God for that, now I found a beloved craft and realize that everything starts with small dots.
